Most machines join MachineWise without hardware. We map the machine's IP on your existing network and configure the driver for its control, Integration is read-only: nothing is written back to the control and no machine parameter is changed.

The table below is the confirmed list. If a control is not on it, that does not mean the machine cannot be monitored — it means it connects through Modbus, OPC-UA or hardwired I/O rather than a native driver, which is how conventional and legacy machines join the same dashboard.

Does connecting change anything on the machine?

No. Integration is read-only. No control parameter is modified, no program is written, and nothing is installed on the control itself.

Will this void a machine warranty or an OEM service contract?

Reading over the network using the control's own documented interface does not modify the machine. Where an OEM contract has specific clauses, we are happy to review them with your team before connecting.

What if my control is older than the series listed?

Older generations often still expose the values we need over Ethernet; where they do not, the machine connects through a Gateway using hardwired signals and lands on the same dashboard with cycle states and counts.

Can you read a control that is not on this list?

Sometimes natively, more often through Modbus or OPC-UA. We do not claim native support for a control until engineering has confirmed it on a real machine, which is why the list above is shorter than some competitors'.

Does every machine need to be on the network?

Controller-connected machines do. Gateway-connected machines can use Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 4G, which is how plants monitor equipment in sheds and yards with no cabling.

What happens when the network or internet drops?

MachineWise runs on-premises, so monitoring continues on your local network. Internet loss affects remote access and outbound alerts, not data collection.
