The route card, without the paper.

A route card is the travelling record that tells a part which operations it needs, in what order, on which machines, and how far along it is. On paper it gets lost, updated late, and reports what somebody remembered at the end of a shift. MachineWise keeps the same document digitally: you create it in about two minutes from a template or a previous batch, assign each operation to a machine, and the card then updates itself from the part counts the machines actually report. Anyone can answer where an order stands without walking the floor, and every card carries its own OEE, rejection and delay history afterwards.
